IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Officer Safety Alert
On 05/19/14 officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department responded to a local apartment
complex in reference to a check welfare. The officers learned from the suspect’s brother that James
Donald Kreidler had kidnapped his ex-girlfriend. A few hours later she had managed to escape from him
at a house in Clay County.
Kreidler was last known to be in Wichita Falls and was armed with a handgun. Sources advise
that he has friends that would hide him. One friend, John Gosvener, is believed to live outside of
Bridgeport, TX. Another friend, only known as Bobbi, lives in Waco, TX.
Our agency currently has two outstanding warrants for Aggravated
Kidnapping and Aggravated Sexual Assault. Kreidler has a caution
indicator/officer safety alert since 2012. He is known to carry handguns and has
threatened suicide by cop.
